What this site is
An information website operated by Ravi Soni, Financial Professional, a licensed insurance intermediary in Edmonton, Alberta. Using it means accepting these terms.
What it is not
- Not an offer of insurance. Nothing here is an offer, a binder, or a promise of coverage. Coverage begins only when an insurer approves an application and issues a policy.
- Not personalised advice. General information published for a general audience cannot account for your situation. Advice happens in a conversation, after a needs analysis.
- Not tax, legal or accounting advice. For that you need an accountant or a lawyer, and I will tell you when you do.
- Not investment advice. I hold an insurance licence. I do not sell securities and do not manage portfolios.
Accuracy
Every published figure — contribution limits, coverage minimums, regulatory requirements — is checked against a primary government source and carries the date it was verified. Those figures change, sometimes without notice. Before acting on a number from this site, confirm it against the current source. Where a page here and a government page disagree, the government page is right.
The calculators and the guided intake
These are estimating and preparation tools. Results are illustrative, not a recommendation, a quote, or an application. They make simplifying assumptions and cannot reflect underwriting.
They run entirely in your browser. Nothing is transmitted or stored on any server. That also means nothing is backed up: if you clear your browser data or close the tab before downloading, the answers are gone and cannot be recovered by me or anyone else.

Links to regulators, government pages and insurers are provided for convenience. I do not control those sites and am not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Limitation of liability
This site is provided as is. To the extent the law permits, I am not liable for loss arising from reliance on information published here. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for the advice I give you personally as a licensed intermediary — that is governed by my licence, my agency’s supervision, and the law of the province you live in.
Intellectual property
Text, design and code on this site are owned by Ravi Soni or licensed to him. Insurer names and marks belong to their respective owners and appear here solely to identify the companies represented, as regulation requires.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applying in it.
